Stitch 626 Party @ VivoCity
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know that Disney’s new live-action movie, Lilo & Stitch, is hitting theatres tomorrow. And there’s no better way to celebrate the lovable alien’s arrival than to visit Miniso’s very own Stitch-themed pop-up, 626 Party, at VivoCity.
This isn’t your typical pop-up event; it’s a full-scale party at VivoCity, featuring Stitch-themed photo zones, game stations, and even a mini express train ride.
So if you’re hoping to catch a glimpse of Stitch and his friends, make a visit to VivoCity’s Outdoor Plaza from now to 29th June – no tickets required.
Is 626 Party free to enter?
The photo zones and pop-up shops are free to enter, but you’ll have to pay for game tokens ($10) and train tickets ($10) to partake in even more fun. However, if you’re a Kids Club member, you can redeem 1 mini express train ticket with every $100 spent in a single receipt at participating VivoCity stores.
What to expect at the 626 Party?
Stitch-themed photo zones, including 4.5m Stitch
No pop-up is complete without a slew of Instagrammable spots, and this one definitely delivers. There are 3 themed photo zones to check out – 2 tucked inside the mall and 1 at VivoCity’s Outdoor Plaza.
Strike a pose at the Outdoor Plaza with a massive 4.5m-tall Stitch, surrounded by colourful letter balloons – this is probably the only time you’ll find yourself shorter than the little blue alien.
You’ll find another photo spot at the North-West Boulevard near Bath & Body Works on L1. Even if you can’t do a handstand like Stitch, it’s still well worth taking a shot with Lilo’s beloved rag doll, Scrump.
Located in front of Calvin Klein at South Avenue on L1 is another adorable photo zone where you can be the fourth wheel, alongside Scrump who’s tagging along with Stitch and his pink sweetheart, Angel. The setup, complete with colourful balloons, is irresistibly cute.
If you’re not up to fighting off crowds for the perfect Instagram shot, head to the Stitch-themed photo booth at the entrance of the Outdoor Plaza to get your pictures printed on exclusive photo strips.
Catch the mini express train ride
If you’re dropping by with your little ones, the Mini Express Train Ride is guaranteed to be a hit.
I found myself being the only adult who had hopped on the Stitch-themed mini locomotive, much to the amusement of many a bystander. The train only makes 1 loop around the Outdoor Plaza, so parents waiting for their kids won’t have to hang around for too long. This one’s definitely made for the younger crowd – it’s more choo-choo than train.

Tickets are priced at $10 per ride, which covers 1 child and 1 accompanying adult. Alternatively, Kids Club members can redeem a ticket with at least $100 spent in a single receipt at selected stores. Tickets are limited to the first 500 redemptions, so even if “Ohana means family, and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten”, you just might, if you don’t act fast.
Get some air time in a pastel bouncy castle
Located next to the mini express train is a whimsical, pastel-coloured bouncy castle. Tickets can be purchased at the nearby booth for $10 each, which includes a maximum playtime of 20 minutes. All participants will need to wear anti-slip socks before bouncing in – they don’t sell socks at the event, so be sure to come prepared.
Unleash your competitive streak at the carnival games
Honestly, a little friendly competition is what Stitch would have wanted at his own pop-up, so make sure to bring your A-game and have fun at the Stitch-themed carnival booths. You’ll find a selection of classic carnival games here, with a unique Stitch twist.
Check out Find Your Beats, where you’ll use a net to scoop out containers containing a hidden icon. Depending on the icon you find within the container, you’ll receive a preset amount of tickets, with a Stitch icon granting you 30 tickets.
For a game with a little less luck involved, head to Orbit Toss, your typical carnival ring-toss game, except here, the cones are stacked on cubes, spinning around on a revolving platform. If your ring lands on the cone, you’ll earn 1 ticket. If it falls all the way down to land around the cube, you’ll be granted a whopping 30 tickets.
Pro tip: there are booth-exclusive Stitch figurines that are also perched next to the cubes on the platform. If you manage to toss a ring onto any of them, you’ll get to walk away with this extra special prize.
Each game requires 1 medallion to play. You can purchase this medallion at any of the booths for $10 each, or get a bundle of 6 medallions for $50.
If 6 isn’t enough, you could go for gold and buy the $100 bundle instead, which nets you 12 medallions and a complimentary Stitch Adventure Pin Map Scroll.
Depending on the game, you’ll get anywhere from 3-30 tickets, which can be used to redeem prizes. Everyone is a winner at these games, since you’ll receive a random Stitch enamel pin just for participating, even if you fail to get any tickets.
Of course, the prizes are all Stitch-themed too, from the smallest Stitch Tsum Tsum plushie that you can get with 3 tickets, to jumbo prizes like a huge Stitch plushie holding a rocket ship that’s worth 40 tickets.
If competitive games aren’t your style, try your hand at the claw machines, AKA prize grabber machines, to snag more Stitch goodies. For risk takers, check out the Jumbo Prize Grabber ($2 per play) for bigger prizes; otherwise the Prize Grabber is from $1 per play.

Splurge on exclusive merch at the Miniso Stitch Fluffy Pop-Up
It’s impossible to miss the Miniso Stitch Fluffy Pop-Up at VivoCity’s Central Court. It’s smack dab in the middle of the atrium, complete with a giant Stitch bursting from the top of the structure. Step inside and you’ll be transported to Stitch’s galactic blue world – a dreamy backdrop to shop for a merch haul.
You’re going to want to keep your hands free for this part of the pop-up, because you’ll be surrounded by a massive selection of Stitch collab products, including Stitch plushies ($27.90) and bubble guns ($9.90).
There are even gifts for your fur babies, like little hats ($7.90) and chew toys ($12.90) so they don’t miss out on the fun.
Blind box fans should check out the Stitch Vinyl Plush Blind Boxes ($30.90), which feature Stitch in a fluffy onesie holding various items like a doughnut, a slice of pizza, and even a miniature version of Scrump.
Even if you don’t feel like splurging on merch, you can always head to the corner of the pop-up where you’ll find giant Stitch plushies to take pictures with.
If you did some shopping before visiting the pop-up, don’t forget to swing by the Information Counter at Level 1 to snag a limited-edition Stitch Blind Box for every $250 spent at participating VivoRewards stores. This is only limited to the first 120 shoppers daily on weekdays, and the first 250 shoppers daily on weekends, so be sure to lock in your purchases before they’re fully redeemed.
Do note that redemptions are capped at 2 same-day receipts and one redemption per shopper per day.

DIY your own Stitch memento
If none of the merch on the shelves tickles your fancy, there’s always the DIY Stitch Souvenir Experience, where you can add your own little personal touch to a crystal pen with a character charm ($18), an encased character crystal globe ($24), or a crystal water bottle with a character figurine ($32).
For extra suspense, each item comes sealed, so you won’t know if you’ve scored a Stitch or Scrump figurine until you open the package. After you’ve picked your item, head to the next station to customise your memento with your favourite coloured crystals.
If you aren’t vibing with your blind selection, head to the gacha machines to try your luck and spin for a new character. Pen charms go for $5 each, while crystal globe and water bottle figurines are $4.
Visit the Stitch 626 Party @ VivoCity
VivoCity might just be your usual stopover before hitting Sentosa, but with Stitch and his friends taking over the Outdoor Plaza, you may find it’s worth sticking around a little longer. Don’t miss the chance to snap some cute pictures with the adorable troublemaker, and grab exclusive merch while you’re here.
