While some might say that Labubu’s popularity has petered out in recent months, we believe that the hype for the mischievous-looking monster is still very real. Just keep a watchful eye out for them the next time you take the public transport, and it won’t be long before you catch their toothy grin beaming from a fellow commuter’s bag.
Well, if you’re looking to jump headlong into the POP MART craze yourself, the latest Summer POP-Up Store is the best place to hit up. It’ll boast not only Singapore-exclusive merch but also a couple of adorable photo spots to spruce up your feed with. Before you start envisioning adding to your ever-growing collection of ling ling long long, here’s all you need to know about it.
The POP MART Summer POP-Up Store will be set up right outside Mandarin Gallery along Orchard Road, and it’ll be running from 20th June to 13th July 2025. Like its name suggests, the pop-up will take on a summer theme, featuring beloved characters like Labubu and Dimoo set in familiar local backdrops.
Undoubtedly, the main highlight of the POP MART Summer POP-Up Store is their extensive collection of merchandise on sale, from blind boxes to bag charms. Fans will also get the chance to snag goodies exclusive to Singapore, such as the highly coveted Labubu Hide and Seek in Singapore ($39.90) series AKA Merbubu.
Other Singapore exclusive series to add to your shopping cart include:
Of course, fan-favourite series will also be up for grabs. Some that are flying off the shelves at POP MART outlets islandwide and are available here include the DIMOO WORLD × DISNEY Series Figures ($15.90) and Baby Molly & Baby Tabby Series Figures ($15.90).
Once you’ve scratched your itch to open up some blind boxes, you can also embark on a hunt for POP MART-themed photo spots peppered throughout Mandarin Gallery and its vicinity. To begin, collect your Summer POP-Up passport from the staff near the entrance of Mandarin Gallery, and collect a stamp at each photo spot.
In particular, the ones outside the mall are intricately designed, as they sport uniquely Singaporean features like a table and seats you’d find in an HDB void deck, a mini Merlion statue and a replica of the iconic dragon playgrounds scattered all over the island.
There are 8 photo spots in total, and once you fill out your passport, you’ll be able to redeem a free sticker set from the Summer POP-Up Store.
Clearly, the buzz surrounding POP MART and consequently, Labubus, seems like it’s here to stay, as evident by the constant crowds at outlets like POP MART ION Orchard. As such, if you’d like to dip your toes into the toy-collecting scene, the POP MART Summer POP-up Store is a good place to start.
