Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll probably know that pickleball is fast becoming the go-to sport for something fun, fast-paced, and not too intense. While there are plenty of pickleball courts available in Singapore, they tend to get snapped up fast, especially during peak hours.

But look a little further and you’ll see a bunch of affordable pickleball courts in JB that’ll let you work up a sweat and still have enough left in your wallet for a post-workout supper.

Note: Prices and information are accurate at the time of writing, and are subject to change.

Thanks to the good folks at SAFRA, courts in Singapore are generally affordable, ranging from S$3.30 to S$11.20 an hour. Bigger indoor ones can start from S$20/hour all the way to S$50/hour.

But pickleball courts in JB could provide more competitive prices with premium facilities, generally ranging from anywhere between RM20/hour (~S$6.06) to RM75/hour (~S$22.74).

So, for pickleball fans with a soft spot for good deals, a quick JB trip might just serve up more bang for your buck.

How do I book a pickleball court in JB?

Most pickleball courts in JB can be booked via Courtsite or an official website. Messaging a WhatsApp number is another possible option, but be wary of scams and never give any credit card information.

Many accept walk-ins, but it’s highly recommended to book in advance, especially if you’re dropping by during peak hours.

What are the peak and off-peak hours for pickleball court bookings in JB?

Off-peak hours for pickleball courts in JB are usually weekday mornings and afternoons – pretty much any time before 5pm or 6pm. Peak hours kick in after that, with weekends and public holidays considered peak all day.
