What to expect at the Disney+ Nine Puzzles: Decoded Pop-Up?
You’ll also be given a flashlight, which will come in handy as certain areas of the event space can get a little dark
Like its name suggests, you’ll be tasked with solving various puzzles at 9 different activity stations at the Nine Puzzles: Decoded Pop-Up. But before you channel your inner Sherlock, be sure to collect your case file; it’ll contain instructions on how to go about tackling each puzzle, as well as an incomplete puzzle frame.
Essentially, your task at hand is to collect 9 puzzle pieces from each of the stations in any order, to eventually form a complete puzzle. We’ll leave it to you to head down to have a go at the puzzles yourself, but from our experience, they aren’t awfully difficult.
Should you get stuck at a particular station, you can always ask for help from the roving staff.
For instance, the Primary Subject station had us play a game of Spot the Difference; the catch here was that we had just 30 seconds to identify 5 anomalies between the 3 sets of crime scene images.
Next, the Profile Your Suspect station tested our intuition as we matched profile, trait, and crime cards for 3 suspects. Over at the Crack The Code station, we were stumped with a riddle which, when deciphered, gave us a code to key into a locked door. For a helping hand, shine the UV light provided at the station to reveal fingerprints left on the electronic keypad by other visitors.
To give your brain a breather, stop by the What Happens Next? station. Simply leave pen down your thoughts after watching a clip playing on the old-school telly; we even spotted Post-Its swooning after Yi Na, so feel free to profess your love for the cast members too.
BTW, the type of puzzle piece you’ll get from each station depends on your performance; so don’t be alarmed if you get a partially fuzzy puzzle like us.
Sooner or later, you’ll end up at station 9, The Final Theory, where you’ll put together your puzzle with all your pieces. Afterwards, a staff member masquerading as an officer of the law will evaluate your performance, and will deem you either a fellow profiler or a felonious suspect. Regardless of your fate, you’ll get to keep your completed puzzle.
Not sure why we’re flashing our pearly whites for a mugshot but okay.

For an additional memento, you can get your mugshot taken and printed out if you’ve been labelled a suspect; on the other hand, certified profilers will receive a personalised identity card instead. The staff won’t discriminate whether you’re on the side of good or evil, so feel free to head to the others’ photo op.
